GENERAL
Limited Stay Permit
- Limited Stay Permit is granted to:
- Foreigners who enter the Indonesian Territory with a limited stay visa or foreigners who are granted status transfer from a visit Stay Permit, which include:
- Foreigners in the context of investment;
- working as an expert;
- perform duties as a clergyman;
- attend education and training;
- Conducting scientific research;
- Joining a husband or wife holding a limited Stay Permit;
- Joining the father and/or mother for a child who is a citizen who has a family legal relationship with the father and/or mother of Indonesia;
- Joining the father and/or mother holding a limited Stay Permit or Permanent Stay Permit for children under 18 (eighteen) years of age and not yet married;
- Foreigners who are former Indonesian citizens; and
- Foreign senior tourists.
- a child who at the time of birth in the Indonesian Territory the father and/or his/her own limited Stay Permit holder;
- The captain, crew, or foreign experts on board ships, floating equipment, or installations operating in Indonesian waters and territories are obligated to comply with the provisions of laws and regulations;

- Foreigners who enter the Indonesian Territory with a limited stay visa or foreigners who are granted status transfer from a visit Stay Permit, which include:
- Limited Stay Permits can also be granted to Foreigners to do short work.
- The limited Stay Permit expires because the holder of the limited Stay Permit:
- Returning to their country of origin and not intending to re-enter the Indonesian Territory;
- Return to the country of origin and not return beyond the validity of the remaining Return Entry Permit;
- Obtaining the citizenship of the Republic of Indonesia;
- his permit has expired;
- The permit changes status to Permanent Stay Permit;
- The permit is canceled by the Minister or the appointed Immigration Officer;
- Subjected Deportation; or
- Die.
REQUIREMENTS
Limited Stay Visa for Short -Term Experts
- Username and Password for the Online Foreign Worker Account (Kemnaker)
- NPWP
- OSS Business License / Registration for Foreign Company Representative Offices
- NIB
- Deed of Establishment + Judicial Decree / Deed of Amendment + Judicial Decree
- LOA (Letter of Appointment), LOI (Letter of Intent), and LOS (Letter of Statement) in lieu of Deed for KPPA
- OSS Location Permit / Ket. Latest Kelurahan Domicile (for Head Office) and OSS Location Permit / Ket. Urban domicile / cooperation agreement with other PT / PO (for additional work locations) (according to the work location that will be entered into the RPTKA)
- Organizational structure which includes the names and positions of foreign workers according to IMTA notification (made on letterhead, on the stamp and signed by HRD Manager/Director)
- Mandatory for the latest Online Employment Report (sometimes the number of workers listed in the current 12 workers must be 1 TKA: 10 TKI employed)
- Application for RPTKA
- Power of Attorney for RPTKA
- Draft Work Agreement according to Permenaker No. 10 of 2018
- Application for Notification
- Application for VTT
- Application and Guarantee Letter
- Photo with a red background, photo using a shirt and tie for men
- Diploma (other than English/Indonesian must be translated by a sworn translator)
- Reference letter from the company previously worked, if the reference letter from an Indonesian company must attach the latest IMTA (other than English/Indonesian, a sworn translator must translate)
- Insurance (travel insurance is allowed) (other than English/Indonesian must be translated by a sworn translator)
- Passport with a minimum validity period of 18 months
- Complete Dose Vaccine Certificate
- Company/TKA account for at least the last 3 months with a final balance of at least 2000 USD
- Current Immigration Documents (for foreigners residing in Indonesia)
PROCEDURES
- Special requirements:
- The admissions counter clerk checks requirements, scans documents and issues Receipts of Acceptance to applicants who meet formal requirements.
- If the request has been judged to meet the requirements, then to the Head of the Immigration Office or the appointed Immigration Officer for approval.
- If in the investigation of the Head of the Immigration Office it turns out that there are dubious indications, the Head of the Immigration Office instructs the Head of Division/Head of Section/Head of Subsection according to the target to conduct a review and the results to the Head of the Immigration Office.
- In the event that the application is approved, file/file to the Admissions Treasurer for payment of immigration fees in accordance with applicable regulations.
- After payment of the immigration fee as referred to in letter d, the next process is carried out sequentially as follows:
- fingerprint, photo taking and affixing the relevant signature on the form of the Limited Stay Permit Card;
- registration and printing;
- Limited Stay Permit number/Card by the Head of the Immigration Office or a designated Immigration Officer.
- In the event that the requirements have been met and photos have been taken, the Head of the Immigration Office or the designated Immigration Officer within a maximum of 4 (four) working days is issued a limited Stay Permit Card.
- Completed Limited Stay Permit Card, Submission Counter clerk.
- Issuance of a Limited Stay Permit that must obtain approval from the Head of the Immigration Division/Director General of Immigration:
- The Counter Officer records receipts and issues Receipts of Receipts to applicants who meet formal requirements, as well as checking the preventative list, checking applicant records and databases.
- If the request has met the requirements, request to the Head of the Immigration Office or the designated Immigration Officer to make a recommendation letter addressed to the Head of the Immigration Division with a copy to the Director General of Immigration.
- Apabila dalam pemeriksaan Kepala Kantor Imigrasi ternyata terdapat indikasi permohonan perlu dikaji lebih lanjut, atau diperlukan penelitian lain, Kepala Kantor Imigrasi menginstruksikan Kepala Bagian/Kepala Bagian Bagian/Kepala Subbagian sesuai dengan bidang tugasnya melakukan penelitian dan melaporkan hasilnya kepada Kepala Kantor Imigrasi.

THE PERIOD OF VALIDITY
- Limited Stay Permit is granted for a maximum period of 2 years and can be extended.
- Each time the addition is given a maximum of 2 (two) years provided that the total Stay Permit in the Indonesian Territory is not more than 6 (six) years.
- Limited Stay Permit to do short work is granted for a maximum period of 90 (ninety) days and can be extended.
- Each time the addition as referred to in point 3, is given for a maximum period of 30 (thirty) days provided that the total Stay Permit in the Indonesian Territory is not more than 180 (one hundred and eighty) days.
- Limited Stay Permit for holders of a limited stay visa upon arrival is granted for a maximum period of 30 (thirty) days.
- Limited Stay Permit for holders of limited Stay Visa on arrival cannot be extended.
